MOMS Club® of Amelia-Batavia in Ohio is a daytime support group for stay-at-home moms on the east side of Cincinnati whose mailing address is in Amelia, Anderson, Batavia, Milford, New Richmond, Newtown, or Cincinnati east of the Little Miami River.
MOMS Club® (MOMS Offering Moms Support®) is an international non-profit organization specifically for mothers who have chosen to stay home to raise their children. There are currently over 2000 chapters in the United States with over 100,000 members in seven countries.
The MOMS Club® believes that being a stay-at-home mother should not isolate you or your children. We welcome children at all MOMS Club® activities. Our members include parents and children of all ages, including some who work part-time or work from home. We'd love for you to join us!
Goals:
- To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay home to raise their children.
- To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers.
- To help children in the community.
- To perform at least one service project yearly to help needy children.
Principles:
- That a woman must be free to choose her own path of fulfillment.
- That for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling, full-time job!
- That a family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise children often involves considerable financial sacrifice.
- That there is no one right way to raise children, but that a major reason for the members to get together is to seek out mothers with common concerns for raising children in the best, most healthful way.
